摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple laser concentration measurement device and method.SOLUTION: The present laser concentration measurement device is provided with: a light transmitting optical fiber 13 comprising a first core and a first clad for introducing a laser beam 12 from a laser beam transmitter 11; a light receiving optical fiber 15 comprising a second core and a second clad for leading out the laser beam 12 into a laser beam receiver 14; and a concentration measurement optical fiber 25 (see Fig. 1-1) connected to the light transmitting optical fiber 13 and the light receiving optical fiber 15 via first and second connectors 16, 17, respectively, and created by forming a plurality of minute pores along the axial direction in a third clad provided around a third core from the vicinity of the third core to the vicinity of the surface of the third clad. In accordance with the concentration of a component to be measured (e.g., ammonia) present in a measurement medium (e.g., a gas) present on the outside of the concentration measurement optical fiber 25, the concentration of the component to be measured is calculated by the amount of light coming out, due to what is called the evanescent effect, from the third clad.
