<p>Described herein is a method for selecting a treatment for cancer in a patient in need thereof. In one embodiment, the method includes a step of determining whether one or more mutations are present in a tissue sample obtained from the patient; and administering to the patient an effective amount of an anti-cancer therapy tailored to treat cancer cells having one or more of the mutations.</p>
