PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a useful anticancer agent using a metal salen complex.SOLUTION: A persistent magnetic anticancer agent contains as an active ingredient a complex in which a taxane anticancer molecule is bound to a metal salen complex coordinated to metal as 4-coordinated ligand with (N, N, O, O), and which acts at multiple phases of cell cycle.
