1. A method of generating at least 100 million minimally-passaged fibroblasts from a small biopsy specimen, comprising the steps of:
a) digesting the small biopsy specimen with a dissociative or digestive enzyme to form a cell suspension; b) seeding the cell suspension into a first large tissue culture flask; c) culturing a fibroblast cell population in the first large tissue culture flask through at most three passages into sequentially larger tissue culture flasks; and d) harvesting the minimally-passaged fibroblasts. |
