This screen data editing device is equipped with: a project data acquisition unit for obtaining project data, which is stored in a programmable indicator, on the basis of edit start instruction information for instructing initiation of editing of screen data for the programmable indicator (screen data); a storage unit for storing the project data that is obtained from the programmable indicator by the project data acquisition unit; an identification information acquisition unit for obtaining screen-specific identification information, which is associated with a screen displayed on the programmable indicator, from the programmable indicator on the basis of the edit start instruction information; a retrieval processing unit for retrieving, from among the project data stored in the storage unit, screen data that matches the identification information on the screen that is obtained by the identification information acquisition unit and displayed on the programmable indicator; a screen display processing unit for displaying a screen on a display unit in accordance with the screen data that is retrieved by the retrieval processing unit; and a project data management unit for performing editing of the project data for the screen that is displayed by the screen display processing unit. |
