ALIGNMENT MECHANISM FOR A LEG PROSTHESES

The invention relates to an alignment mechanism for sections of a leg prosthesis, each of said sections comprising one or more prosthesis-forming elements. The position of one section can be varied in relation to the other in order to obtain the general position of the prosthesis, thereby providing the user with stability and comfort and allowing the user to develop a suitable gait, as well as improving the condition in which the prosthesis is used, by means of a single adjustment. The versatile manner with which the alignment mechanism is adjusted, allowing simultaneous adjustments in the anterior/posterior and medial/lateral directions and internal/external rotation, is advantageous over other leg prosthesis alignment systems available on the market which generally use four or more adjustments.
