PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an excessive amount of compressed air from being blown to eyes of a subject at the time of measurement of a cornea deformation amount.SOLUTION: A non-contact type tonometer has: a piston; drive means which drives the piston; fluid jetting means which blows air compressed by driving the piston to the cornea of an eye to be examined; and intraocular pressure measurement means which detects the deformation state of the cornea and measures intraocular pressure. The non-contact type tonometer also has piston displacement restriction means which restricts a displacement amount at the time of compressing the air by the piston and change means which changes the displacement amount to be restricted by the piston displacement restriction means. |
