A method for producing a stent which is formed into a tubular body and comprises at least one marker composed of a marker housing and a marker insert, the method using an indenter a distal end of which has a spherical shape, the distal end coming into contact with the marker insert when pressing the marker insert with the indenter and fitting and crimping the marker insert to an opening provided on the marker housing to fix the marker insert thereto. Due to this method, a stent having a radiopaque marker with which, when attaching the marker insert to the stent, sufficient load can be transferred to the radiopaque marker insert and less damage is caused to the marker housing of the stent can be produced. |
