Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for processing a cell interoperation. The method comprises: (101) after a first user equipment (UE) accesses a serving cell, determining a first mobility management unit of the first UE in the serving cell, the serving cell comprising at least one mobility management unit; (102) determining first neighboring cell coverage information corresponding to the first mobility management unit according to a predetermined correspondence between the mobility management unit and neighboring cell coverage information, the first neighboring cell at least comprising one of an intra-frequency neighboring cell of the serving cell, an inter-frequency neighboring cell of the serving cell and an inter-system neighboring cell of the serving cell; and (103) processing a cell interoperation between the serving cell and the first neighboring cell according to the coverage information of the first neighboring cell. It is achieved that a first UE is not required to measure coverage information of a neighboring cell, thereby making a cell interoperation prompt and improving the efficiency of the cell interoperation. |
