PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article whose absorption performance and fitness is improved while achieving reduction of weight and cost.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 200 has: a liquid permeable top sheet 202; a liquid impermeable back sheet 204; and an absorbing layer 210 arranged between the top sheet and the back sheet. The absorbing layer is formed by laminating an upper layer 211 on the top sheet side and a lower layer 212 on the back sheet side. The upper layer is narrower than the lower layer, and thickness t1 of the upper layer is 30% to 70% of total thickness (t1+t2) of the upper layer and the lower layer. The upper layer has a plurality of first embossed parts 211e which are recessed from a reverse surface in contact with the lower layer to the top sheet side, do not reach the surface on the top sheet side, are separated from one another, and extend in a longitudinal direction. The lower layer has a plurality of recessed second embossed parts 212e which are recessed from the surface in contact with the upper layer to the back sheet side, are separated from one another, cross the direction in which the first embossed parts extend, and extend. |
