PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contactless charger that ensures accuracy of determining whether or not a smartphone has been loaded thereon.SOLUTION: When a sensing value Vx of an electrostatic sensor 6 increases by a predetermined level from a baseline Vk, a contactless charger 1 determines that a smartphone has been loaded thereon and transmits a charging wave Sv to start charging. During charging, the contactless charger 1 powers off the electrostatic sensor 6. When detecting an IG switch being turned off during charging, the contactless charger 1 stops charging. The contactless charger 1 then executes ID checking wireless communication that is ID matching using a charging communication network, to check whether the smartphone is left behind. The contactless charger 1 determines that the smartphone has been left behind if the ID matching by the ID checking wireless communication is successful, and determines that the smartphone has not been left behind if the ID matching by the ID checking wireless communication is unsuccessful. |
