PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of appropriate peaking display even if a special effect is added to an image.SOLUTION: A peak image processing unit 220 generates peak image data by processing RAW data obtained by imaging by an imaging device 204. An image processing unit 218 generates background image data by processing the RAW data obtained by imaging by the imaging device 204. A synthesizing unit 222 generates synthetic image data by synthesizing the peak image data and the background image data. A display unit 226 displays an image based on the synthetic image data. |
