PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reliably removing target information unnecessary for vehicle control and thereby preventing vehicle control from being erroneously exerted.SOLUTION: The present invention is a radar device for extracting a peak signal obtained from a differential frequency between a transmission signal whose frequency changes at a prescribed cycle and a reception signal obtained by receiving a reflection wave, from a target, of a transmission wave based on the transmission signal in a first period in which the frequency of the transmission signal rises and a second period in which the frequency declines, and derives information about the target on the basis of the extracted peak signal, the radar device comprising pairing means for pairing the peak signal extracted in the first period and the peak signal extracted in the second period, and determination means for determining, on the basis of the number of pair data, among the pair data paired above, of a stationary object present in a prescribed range from the device. |
