PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air mat device or an air cushion device utilizing air pressure in which comfortableness and optimum body pressure dispersibility can be obtained by automatically holding optimum hardness and height of a mattress or a cushion with automatic control of air pressure on the basis of the body weight of a user.SOLUTION: An air mat device 10 comprises: a mattress 12 which includes an air cell group 16 in which a plurality of long and narrow bag-like air cells 14 are arranged in parallel along the longer direction of a bed in a state in which the air cells 14 are laid in a direction orthogonal to the longer direction of the bed; an air supply part 18 which supplies and exhausts air to the air cells 14; and a sensor which detects a sinking amount of the mattress 12, and detects the sinking amount of the mattress 14 based on the pressing force from the air cells 14 following sinking of the mattress 12 on the basis of the detection result of the sensor. |
