<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing 1,2-dichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene that can be implemented on an industrial scale.SOLUTION: A method of producing 1,2-dichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene is characterized by reacting 1-halogeno-3,3,3-trifluoropropene represented by the general formula [1] in the figure, where X represents a fluorine atom, chlorine atom or bromine atom, in a gas phase with chlorine in the presence of a catalyst. Thereby, 1,2-dichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene is produced on an industrial scale with a good yield, by using inexpensively obtained 1-halogeno-3,3,3-trifluoropropene as an ingredient.</p> |
