PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo-electric hybrid module with easy and accurate alignment of an optical element of an optical element unit and a core of an optical waveguide of a photo-electric hybrid module.SOLUTION: A photo-electric hybrid module includes: a connector 1 with an optical element 13 mounted thereon; and a photo-electric hybrid unit 2 with an electric circuit board E and an optical waveguide W laminated thereon. The connector 1 includes a convex portion for alignment 1a, positioned and formed in a prescribed position with regard to the optical element 13. The photo-electric hybrid unit 2 includes a concave portion 2a positioned and formed in a prescribed position with regard to an end surface of a core 25 of the optical waveguide W, and configured to fit with the convex portion for alignment 1a. A bond between the connector 1 and the photo-electric hybrid unit 2 is established in a state where the convex portion for alignment 1a of the connector 1 and the concave portion 2a of the photo-electric hybrid unit 2 are fitted. By the bond, the optical element 13 and the core 25 are aligned, allowing light propagation. |
