PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noise suppressor capable of suppressing resonance sounds which occur inside the noise suppressor.SOLUTION: Inside a muffler 30, there are provided a first interference passage ranging from the inside of a first communication hole 32A formed in an inlet pipe 32 through the downstream opening end of the inlet pipe 32 to the outside of the first communication hole 32A, a second interference passage ranging from the inside of a second communication hole 32B formed in the inlet pipe 32 through the downstream opening end of the inlet pipe 32 to the outside of the second communication hole 32B, and a third interference passage ranging from the inside of a third communication hole 33A formed in an outlet pipe 33 through the upstream opening end of the outlet pipe 33 to the outside of the third communication hole 33A. To suppress resonance sounds inside the muffler 30, lengths L1-L3 of the interference passages are properly set, in the case that L is the length in the exhaust direction of an expansion chamber for resonance frequencies to be eliminated therefrom. |
