PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact connector which is usable even if there is a restriction in a connector space in the radial direction.SOLUTION: The connector includes: an apparatus-side connector housing 12 having a hood part 14; a cable-side connector housing 21 capable of fitting into the hood part 14; and a cover 30, disposed backward of the direction of fitting with the apparatus-side connector housing 12 of the cable-side connector housing 21, for covering the opening of the hood part 14. On the cover 30 and the hood part 14, there is provided a lock mechanism (an engaging part 34A and an engaging hole 15 of an elastic engaging piece 34) for retaining the cable-side connector housing 21 at a normal fitting position relative to the apparatus-side connector housing 12, by the cover 30 placed to a lock state against the hood part 14. |
