PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cantilever type lifting apparatus which is compact, withstands heavy load and has improved dust- and drip-proof effects with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: In a cantilever lifting apparatus 10, a pillar 12 having a U-shaped transverse section is fixed upright, and a lifting member 16 which is caused to ascend and descend by a linear motion conversion mechanism 14 is provided within the pillar 12. Since a load receiving member 20 connected to the lifting member 16 is located in the front of the outer-side surface 12b on the opposite-to-opening side of the pillar 12, invasion of e.g. dust from the load side into the pillar can be prevented reliably. Since there is provided a guide mechanism 22 guiding the linear motion of the lifting member 16 relative to the inner-side surface 12A of the opposite-to-opening side of the pillar 12, the distance between the guide mechanism and the center of gravity of the load L can be reduced minimally, leading to exertion of good load resistance performance. |
