<p>The present invention discloses a mobile terminal capabilities identification method, comprising: when a mobile terminal (MS) accesses a network, a base station controller (BSC) first activates and assigns a traditional service channel for the MS; after the traditional service channel is assigned, the BSC then activates and assigns a VAMOS channel for the MS; mobile terminal capabilities are determined in accordance with an assignment completion message or an assignment failure message returned by the MS. The present invention additionally discloses a mobile terminal capabilities identification system and a computer storage medium; the present invention can, unperceived by the user, reduce the amount of dropped calls resulting from a false capabilities report leading to channel assignment failure, thus greatly enhancing the user experience.</p> |
