PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-up projection system which is convenient, simple, and enables easy installation to all vehicles and reduction of the costs for manufacturing and installation.SOLUTION: A head-up projection system 2 includes: a mounting member 21; and a portable projector 25. The mounting member 21 has a receptacle and is mounted on a ceiling 31 of a vehicle 3. The portable projector 25 is detachably housed in the receptacle of the mounting member 21 and is formed so as to connect with a mobile communication and arithmetical device having a navigation function. The portable projector 25 displays navigation information images from the mobile communication and arithmetical device in the vehicle.
