PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector assembly for a cell culture vessel having a novel structure which makes it possible to advantageously avoid adhesion of a liquid formulation to a plug body of a female connector and reduce the contamination risk in the cell culture vessel.SOLUTION: A female connector 18 comprises a tubular member 22 which has one end portion 26 connected to a cell culture vessel to form a communication passage 30, a first elastic plug body 44 which is arranged at the other end portion 32 of the tubular member 22 to encapsulate the other end portion 32, and a second elastic plug body 46 which is arranged backwardly in an axial direction of the tubular member 22 as compared with the first elastic plug body 44. A slit 48, which penetrates through a central part in a straight line form, is formed for the first elastic plug body 44. On the other hand, a plurality of slide contact tab portions 56 are formed for the second elastic plug body 46 by providing at least one of a slit 54 and a notch at a central part in a penetrating manner. At least one of the slide contact tab portions 56 is brought in slide contact with each liquid discharge hole 108 of a male connector 20. |
