An improved structure of a tent having a flat top, comprising a flat top transverse rod (1); the two ends of the top transverse rod (1) are respectively connected to a tee connecting piece (11); each tee connecting piece (11) is respectively connected to two upright rods (2); the top transverse rod (1) is movably connected to a cantilever rod (3); the free ends of the cantilever rod (3) extend to the sides of the top transverse rod (1); the cantilever rod (3) is a three-segment rod, with a middle rod piece (31) thereof being connected to the middle of the top transverse rod (1), and the two ends of the middle rod (31) being respectively connected to a side rod (32) via a one-way connecting piece (33); the cantilever rod (3) is rotatably connected to the top transverse rod (1); the top transverse rod (1) comprises two top rods (41) connected to a pivoting base (42); the pivoting base (42) is provided with four pivoting notches (421) therein; and the other two opposing pivoting notches (421) are connected to two cantilever rods (3). The tent has a simple structure, is easy to use, and has an increased top area, thus providing increased useable space within the tent. |
