PORTABLE GAS FLARE The present invention relates to a portable safety flare for use in burning waste gas at remote facilities. The portable safety flare for combustion of waste gases, comprising: a vent stack having a first end and a second end spaced apart from each other and connected by a longitudinally extending hollow 10 member and supported in an upright position by supports and a base; means for permitting the communication of combustion air with the first end of the vent stack; a burner immediately surrounding the second end of the vent stack such that the burner is supplied with combustion air by the vent stack; and a float assembly attached to the base of the vent stack to allow the portable safety 15 flare to be floated on an associated dam of water. | / 28 |
