PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer hologram data creation apparatus and a computer hologram data creation method capable of greatly reducing (alleviating) a computation quantity and improving pixel peripheral luminance.SOLUTION: A computer hologram data creation apparatus according to the present embodiment comprises: image data acquisition means for acquiring original image data having a predetermined number of samples on the basis of an original image; phase modulation data generation means for generating phase modulation data by replacing an amplitude value with a predetermined value in a frequency domain on the basis of the acquired original image data; and interpolation processing means for generating hologram data by performing interpolation processing on the generated phase modulation data having the predetermined number of samples so that the predetermined number of samples increases to a larger number of samples.
