PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which enables easy execution of predetermined processing without rebooting the whole apparatus, when an error occurs during executing the predetermined processing using a certain program.SOLUTION: A system 1 includes: an image forming apparatus 10 having an internal server; an application management server 50 which manages a plurality of applications to be executed in the image forming apparatus 10; and an external server 60. The image forming apparatus 10 stores progress identification information indicating the progress in an internal cooperative application AP1 when an error occurs during executing the internal cooperative application AP1 and operation cannot be continued. An external cooperative application AP2 which achieves a function equivalent to the internal cooperative application AP1 is executed in place of the internal cooperative application AP1. Processing of the external cooperative application AP2 automatically proceeds until a stage corresponding to the progress identification information. |
