PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapered roller bearing cage capable of surely preventing the come-off of the cage from an inner ring by increasing the height of an engaging protruded portion of each column part to increase an engagement length between the engaging protruded portion and a small collar portion, and to provide a tapered roller bearing.SOLUTION: A tapered roller bearing cage 14 includes a large-diameter side annular part 15, a small-diameter side annular part 16 arranged coaxially with the large-diameter side annular part 15, a plurality of column parts 17 arranged at almost equal intervals in the peripheral direction to connect the large-diameter side annular part 15 and the small-diameter side annular part 16, and pocket parts 18 formed between the column parts 17 adjacent to each other in the peripheral direction to hold tapered rollers 13 in a rollable manner. On the inner peripheral faces of the plurality of column parts 17, engaging protruded portions 17b are formed protruded radially inside to ride over a small collar part 12b of an inner ring 12 when inserting the cage 14 into the inner ring 12. The number of the engaging protruded portions 17b is set to be smaller than the number of the tapered rollers 13. |
