PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide compositions for preventing and treating various diseases associated with fibrosis comprising an inhibitor of lysyl oxidase like 2 (LOXL2), and to provide treatment methods and kits thereof.SOLUTION: Provided are compositions containing, as an inhibitor of LOXL2, anti-LOXL2 antibody or antigen binding fragments thereof, siRNA, shRNA or antisense polynucleotides, and methods for treating hepatic fibrosis, kidney fibrosis, pulmonary fibrosis, skin scarring and keloid, and related compositions and kits thereof.
