PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device and an output signal adjustment method which are capable of reducing power consumption accompanied by the phase adjustment operation by suppressing the execution of a phase adjustment operation with low necessity.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device includes: a phase adjustment unit that generates an output signal on the basis of an input signal and can execute an adjustment operation for setting a phase difference between the input signal and output signal to a predetermined value; a signal output unit that outputs an operation control signal indicating the necessity of a determination operation for determining whether the phase difference is out of an allowable range containing the predetermined value; and a control unit that executes the determination operation according to the operation control signal and, if the phase difference is out of the allowable range, causes the phase adjustment unit to execute the adjustment operation.
