PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmission efficiency by appropriately detecting foreign matter between a power transmission apparatus and a power reception apparatus and performing power transmission when a positional relationship between the power transmission apparatus and the power transmission apparatus is appropriate.SOLUTION: The power transmission apparatus for transmitting electric power to the power reception apparatus intermittently performs transmission of electric power by radio, detects a load-modulated signal from the power reception apparatus relative to transmitted electric power and, when the load-modulated signal is detected, extends a transmission period. The power transmission apparatus starts normal power transmission on the basis of received electric power of the power reception apparatus when an acquired ID is appropriate. |
