The present invention relates to a sheet-type electrode for a secondary battery, a method for manufacturing same, and a secondary battery and a cable-type secondary battery comprising the sheet-type electrode, wherein the sheet-type electrode comprises: a current collector; an electrode active material layer formed on top of one surface of the current collector; and a porous first support layer formed on top of the electrode active material layer. According to the present invention, the flexibility of an electrode can be significantly improved by introducing the support layer on at least the one surface of the sheet-type electrode, decrease of battery capacitance can be prevented by preventing the electrode active material layer from separating from the current collector even when extreme external force is applied to the battery, and cycle life characteristics of the battery can be improved. Furthermore, introduction of an electrolyte solution to the electrode active material layer becomes smooth by providing the porous support layer, and decreasing performance of the battery can be prevented through prevention of increase of resistance in the battery by impregnating pores in the porous support layer with the electrolyte solution.
