Abstract A canvas for closing loading boxes of trucks or trailers formed by a laminar body (1) which is arranged in a sliding assembly for the movement between both positions of folding and extension. There are some vertical reinforcing strips (4) fixed on said 5 laminar body (1) whereas in at least one of the upper or lower edges of said laminar body (1) there are incorporated band segments (6) facilitating the uniform folding and extension.
