摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of determining occurrence of an interruption factor of a sheet ejection operation with a minimum sensor configuration.SOLUTION: A full sensor detects a state in which a conveyor roller abuts on an upper surface of sheets loaded on a loading tray at a height equal to or larger than a maximum allowable loading height as a full state. A controller controls a sheet feed mechanism to keep the conveyor roller remaining at an abutment position for a predetermined period after moving the conveyor roller from a retreat position to the abutment position, and to return the conveyor roller to the retreat position after passage of the predetermined period. A determination unit determines a predetermined state in which a sheet ejector should interrupt a sheet ejection operation if the full sensor detects the full state during an operation period since the controller starts moving the conveyor roller from the retreat position to the abutment position until the controller controls the conveyor roller to start an operation for returning to the retreat position after passage of the predetermined period.</p>
