<p>The present invention relates to a smart paint which can sense the deformation and damage of a structure, and thus can be used for maintaining structural integrity, monitoring a state, and the like, and by using the same, can predict real-time structural deformation and structural lifetime and monitoring an extent of damage, wherein the smart paint comprises a piezoelectric material, in a conventional paint, capable of sensing structural deformation and damage. To this end, a smart paint and a smart paint device using a piezoelectric material comprise: a thermosetting or thermoplastic resin, and a paint such as a pressure sensitive paint and the like; a piezoelectric ceramic powder mixed with the resin and the paint; and an electrode manufactured on the outer surface of the mixture of the paint and the piezoelectric ceramic powder.</p> |
