PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server device which can distribute data while reducing load on the server.SOLUTION: A server device 1 comprises a download information management unit 12. In download permission information, permission/inhibition information is written that indicates whether to permit downloading distribution data to an audio-video reproduction terminal. In download completion information, completion/incompletion information is written that indicates whether download of the distribution data to the audio-video reproduction terminal is completed. The download completion information can be rewritten by the audio-video reproduction terminal. When the download completion information is rewritten and the description of "incomplete" is changed to "complete", the download permission information for another audio-video reproduction terminal is to be rewritten and the description of "inhibited" is to be changed to "permitted". |
