PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly suppress a decrease in transmission quality due to addition of an adjacent wavelength.SOLUTION: An optical transmission device receives a light signal having a light wavelength λ1. The optical transmission device includes a variable wavelength filter 331b, an adjacent frequency detecting unit 331d, and an ADC/DSP333b. The variable wavelength filter 331b detects adjacency of an another optical transmission device which receives a light signal having a wavelength λ2 different from the light wavelength λ1. The adjacent frequency detecting unit 331d determines whether a second frequency corresponding to the another optical transmission device in which the adjacency is detected by the variable length filter 331b differs from a first frequency corresponding to the optical transmission device. When the adjacent frequency detecting unit 331d determines that the second frequency differs from the first frequency, the ADC/DSP333b modifies parameters for phase noise from the light signal having the light wavelength λ1 according to the levels of the first and second frequencies. |
