PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery capable of preventing or reducing generation of an arc.SOLUTION: A secondary battery according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an electrode assembly including a positive electrode and a negative electrode; a case embedding the electrode assembly; and a cap assembly combined to the case and electrically connected to the electrode assembly. The cap assembly includes: a first member and a second member which are electrically in contact with each other; and a minute current transporting member which is located between the first member and the second member, has a larger resistance than the first member and the second member, and is electrically connected to the first member and the second member. |
