<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently requesting, gathering, and computing the channel state information of spatial streams, in an SDMA (spatial division multiple access).SOLUTION: In a step 402, a scheduled training request (TRQ) message is broadcast from an access point configured to support a backhaul connection for a peer node, in a step 404, a training signal from each responder station is received, and, in a step 406, a CSI (channel state indication) is calculated from each training signal, each CSI is combined and used to calculate precoding matrices defining the spatial streams of each responder station. In a step 408, a TRQ message from any one of the responder stations is received, in a step 410, a training message is sent in response to the message, and, in a step 412, data is sent according to the calculated precoding matrices.</p> |
