<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device for a hand pallet truck improved in operability.SOLUTION: A braking device 10 for a hand pallet truck is mounted on the hand pallet truck including a body part 26 having a plurality of folk arms connected thereto so as to be vertically movable, and travelling wheels provided in the lower part of the body part, and brakes the wheels. The body part includes: a tilting member 12 supported in a tiltable manner toward the wheels; a pressure-contact part mounted on the tilting member and capable of being pressure-contacted to the wheels; urging means disposed between the body part and the tilting member and urging the tilting member in such a direction that makes the tilting member separate from the wheels in a normal state; and a pedal member 15 locked by the tilting member and stepped on against the urging force by the urging means to make the pressure-contact part pressure-contacted to the wheels.</p> |
