PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope groove measurement jig for an elevator sheave which allows simultaneous measurement of wear losses of a plurality of rope grooves and is applicable to sheaves different in the number of main ropes.SOLUTION: A rope groove measurement jig 30 is for checking wear losses of rope grooves provided in a sheave 4 around which a main rope 7 is taken up and includes a plurality of guide cylinders 8 having an insertion part 12 and a plurality of gauge bars 15 to be inserted into the individual insertion parts 12, and the individual guide cylinders 8 are integrated through slidable concavoconvex engagement with dovetail grooves by using mortice. The rope groove measurement jig 30 is set in e.g. the sheave 4 for four grooves, and wear losses of rope grooves 31 to 34 are measured by bringing a spherical part 16 on the lower-end side of the gauge bar 15 into contact with the rope grooves 31 to 34 and reading relative positions between the guide cylinder 8 and the gauge bar 15. When wear looses of rope grooves of the sheave 4 different in the number of rope grooves is checked by using the rope groove measurement jig 30, the total number of guide cylinders 8 is increased or decreased by simple attachment or detachment of a cylinder(s) 8.
