<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical agent and the like for effectively inhibiting sebum secretion which is a primary cause of acne, dry rough skin, hair loss, seborrheic dermatitis, darkened pores, and the like, particularly excessive sebum secretion on the face, scalp, back, and the like.SOLUTION: By using a sebum secretion inhibitor containing one or more active ingredients selected from pantetheine S-sulfonic-acid alkali metal salt, pantetheine S-sulfonic-acid alkaline earth metal salt, and pantethine to apply it to the skin, excessive sebum secretion (particularly excessive sebum secretion on face, scalp, back, and the like) can be inhibited simply and effectively to prevent and/or treat acne, dry rough skin, hair loss, seborrheic dermatitis, darkened pores, and the like.</p> |
