<p>A postal packaging system consists of a reusable postal package, such as an envelope, and one or more detachable labels. The labels may be detachably adhered to the back of the postal package. Each label has a back surface for affixing over used postage marks 1.2 on the postal package, and a front surface for displaying the postage payment for re-posting the postal package. Use of the labels allows the postal package to be reused in multiple mailings. Additionally the postal package may be provided with a plurality of address labels 1.4, each address label 1.4 displaying a postage address and being independently detachable from the package for removing the previous postage address from display prior to re-posting the package. Return address labels (fig 2, ref 2.3) may be provided on the rear of the postal package. The postal package may also be provided with a closure flap comprising a plurality of perforated sealing strips 1.3, the strips enabling the flap to sequentially seal to postal package.</p> |
