The present invention relates to an optical and electrical hybrid connector comprising: a socket unit which includes a socket body unit providing optical socket and power socket units which are inserted into an insulator and separated electrically; a plug body unit which includes an optical plug unit which is combined to the socket unit and inserted into the optical socket unit, and a power plug unit which is inserted into the power socket unit; and a plug unit which includes a tension fixing unit which is combined to the plug body unit and prevents tension force of an optical and electrical hybrid cable from being applied to the optical plug unit and the power plug unit. The size of an enclosure of communications equipment can be reduced by supplying an optical signal and a power source to a single cable. The socket unit and the plug unit are easily connected to the optical and electrical hybrid cable with the insertion of a retainer only. The socket unit and the plug unit can be combined by fastening a coupling nut after the socket unit and plug unit are inserted by matching a mutual direction key. Therefore, time and costs required for a work can be reduced with an easy work.
