<p>The present invention relates to a reader. Especially, the technical objective of the present invention is to provide a portable reader and a method for reading tag information using the same, which is formed in the type of a pen, and receives tag information transmitted from a frequency tag, and can transmit the received tag information to a portable communication terminal. For this, the portable reader according to the present invention includes: a tag receiver part for receiving tag information from a frequency tag; a transmitter part for transmitting the tag information to the portable communication terminal; a storage part which includes information required to drive the tag receiver part and the transmitter part; a control part to control functions of the tag receiver part, the transmitter part and the storage part; a power supply part for supplying electricity required in the tag receiver part, the transmitter part, the storage part and the control part; a pen type body where the tag receiver part, the transmitter part, the storage part and the control part are embedded; and a touch part which is installed at one end of the body.</p> |
