<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fender having a low and even compressive surface pressure to achieve excellent abrasion properties. <P>SOLUTION: A fender 1 comprises an impact receiving part 2 including an impact receiving plate 4 made of resin and a pair of leg parts 3 made of rubber which are disposed at the underside of the impact receiving part 2 in the height direction of the fender. The width W of the impact receiving part 2 and the height H of the fender 1 satisfy the following expression (1):2H≤W, wherein W represents the width (mm) of the impact receiving part and H represents the height (mm) of the fender. The thickness h<SB POS="POST">1</SB>of the impact receiving part 2, the height h<SB POS="POST">2</SB>of the leg part 3, the thickness t of the leg part 3, and the height H of the fender 1 satisfy the following expression (2): h<SB POS="POST">2</SB>/4≤t≤h<SB POS="POST">1</SB>≤H/2≤h<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, wherein h<SB POS="POST">1</SB>represents the thickness (mm) of the impact receiving part, h<SB POS="POST">2</SB>represents the height (mm) of the leg part, t represents the thickness (mm) of the leg part, and H represents the height (mm) of the fender. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
