The present invention relates to a key plate and a light emitting keyboard including the same. The key plate has a cover through which light penetrates and =includes multiple first key holes. The key plate also has a key symbol display panel which is installed in the cover through which light penetrates and includes multiple second key holes and a key symbol block through which the light penetrates. The key symbol block through which the light penetrates, is installed near the second key holes and positions of the second holes are the same as positions of the first key holes. The light emitting keyboard includes the key plate. The key plate and the light emitting keyboard including the same have a simple structure and are manufactured at low costs for a short manufacturing period. Also, as a user is able to see a symbol displayed by keys of the keyboard in a bright or dark environment, the symbol is prevented from being hidden by fingers of the user. The symbol of the key does not become dirty even if the symbol is frequently touched by the fingers of the user. The key symbol display panel is able to show a variety of forms. |
