<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which produces an advantageous game state over a prescribed time and which increases excitement and enjoyment of a game, while preventing the dissatisfaction of a player that he/she cannot take a rest, though wanting to take it. <P>SOLUTION: The slot machine 1 includes a specific state lottery means 421 which performs a specific state lottery about whether to produce a specific state or not, a measuring means 47 which measures the time elapsed after the specific state is produced, a specific state finishing means 463 which finishes the specific state when the time elapsed reaches prescribed duration, and a lottery result notifying means 482 which performs notification about information on success or failure suggesting the result of the specific state lottery.
