PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waist part reinforcing structure which provides desired vehicle body rigidity and has satisfactory mounting work efficiency. SOLUTION: A window insertion aperture 10 having a sufficient aperture area allowing a window body 7 to be inserted therein is formed in an upper part of an inner space DS. A closed sectional surface WS is formed at a waist reinforcing member 17 in a sub assembling state formed by joining an inner reinforcement 18 and an outer reinforcement 19 to each other beforehand, and joined to a seat side inner panel member 3 in a vehicle width direction. Stabilizer members 23 and 23 attached to stabilizer seat surfaces 21 and 21 of the waist reinforcing member 17 beforehand are disposed at a peripheral edge of the window insertion aperture 10 in such a state that a slide position can be adjusted.
