<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability when a user performs respective settings relating to a specific electric apparatus, by allowing user-friendly guide display. <P>SOLUTION: An operating device comprises: a display; a display controller 522 for causing the display to display reception screens for respective settings relating to a specific electric apparatus; and an instruction receiver for receiving an input to designate a content of each setting from the user, when the display controller displays the reception screens for the respective settings. In the case of guiding an input for the respective settings to the user or when input operation for the respective settings continues, the display controller 522 slides the reception screens laterally.
