<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an interconnection node that can construct an alternative route when multiple faults have occurred in a single ring, with suppressing an increase in the number of nodes and without forming a loop. <P>SOLUTION: An interconnection node 3 is in a communication system, in which one interconnection node 3 connected to two rings is provided between the rings, and a plurality of rings are connected annularly. The communication system makes one of the interconnection nodes a two-port blocking node. The interconnection node 3 comprises: rings I/F 14 and 16 relay a frame received from one ring to the other; a multiple-fault detection unit 19 for detecting multiple faults; a multiple-fault occurrence/dissolution notification unit 20 for transmitting a multiple-fault detection notice to the other interconnection nodes if multiple faults have been detected in the case of the two-port blocking node; and a blocking port control unit 21 for setting two ports of one connected ring as blocking ports, and for cancelling blocking of one of the two ports if multiple faults have been detected or the multiple-fault detection notice have been received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
